Title VI Notice to the Public

The City of Springville is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination in any City program, service, or activity on the basis of race, color, or national origin, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

This commitment applies to all City programs, services, activities, and facilities, whether provided directly by the City or through another entity on the City’s behalf.

Title VI Coordinator

Language Assistance & Accessibility

The City of Springville is committed to providing meaningful access to City programs, services, activities, and information.

Individuals who need language assistance, information in an alternative format, or a reasonable accommodation may contact the Title VI Coordinator. The City will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate assistance at no cost to the individual.

Filing a Title VI Complaint

Any person who believes they have been excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in connection with a City of Springville program, service, or activity may file a Title VI complaint.

Complaints should be submitted to the City’s Title VI Coordinator and should include, when available:

• The complainant’s name and contact information;
• A description of the alleged discrimination;
• The date and location of the incident;
• The basis of the complaint;
• The names of individuals involved, if known; and
• The remedy or resolution being requested.
