City Clerk’s Office
The City Clerk’s Office serves as a primary point of contact for residents and helps keep the day-to-day business of the City of Springville running smoothly. Whether you have a question about your utility bill, need a City record, are looking for information about an upcoming meeting, or simply aren’t sure who to contact, the Clerk’s Office is a good place to start.
The City Clerk/Treasurer is responsible for the general administration of City Hall and works with the Mayor and City Council to carry out policies and decisions of the Council. Responsibilities include preparing the annual City budget, overseeing City finances and financial records, maintaining official City records, preparing City Council agendas and minutes, and carrying out other administrative responsibilities of the City.
The Deputy City Clerk assists with the daily operations of City Hall, including water and sewer utility billing and collections, customer service, preparation of the Springville News newsletter, and other administrative duties. The Deputy City Clerk also serves in the City Clerk’s absence.
